Well I'm here and established and unpacked. My 40 gallon veggie tank, however, is empty
![]() Started the Craiglist search for oil to no avail. All I get is responses saying "hey I don't have oil for you, but can you help me convert my diesel?". Grumble. I'm waiting to hear back from someone in SF that has some oil for me - but have yet to hear anything and I don't want to be a pest.Just wondering if anyone here is on the Peninsula and might have some tips or an account or two to pass off. Found diesel for $3.91/gallon 1.7 miles from the house and I'm not driving long distances like I did in Colorado - so the pocketbook isn't suffering that badly - just the heart. Any and all help appreciated. |

I use the business section of the local newspaper to locate new restaurants that must post the principal's name, and address before they can open for business. By contacting them the same day the paper comes out, you can be the first person to contact them and get their business. I have used this method with good success. I might also suggest getting the "CA Inedible Kitchen Grease Transporter - Personal Use". Very easy process and to obtain the application and contact phone numbers. It makes it much easier to get the restaurant owner's business. Worth the money ($175 per yr.) in my estimation to obtain a steady supply of WVO.
