Default Pressure relief valve.

The stock fuel filter on this Scout is going bye bye. It has a built in pressure relief valve that feeds to the return. What can I replace it with?

What engine is it again?

Many of the 6.2 Chevy's have this same feature, I suggest putting a fuel pressure gauge on it and see what psi it is delivering, I think it is 8-12 psi which gives you options, the Frybrid HPFP or a mallory. You can block off the fuel pump mount with a fuel pump block off plate made for a small block shevy if memory serves me.

Default Sd-33t

It is a Chrysler/Nissan SD-33T. I hate to have Raphael spend money on a pump like that unless it is neccesary. Currently the return off the injectors feed into this filter as well as new fuel. There is a banjo bolt that has a spring that presses a metl bb down. When the pressure gets high enough the bb retracts the spring and the excess flow returns to the fuel tank.

Default Thinking out loud

I think if I can find a brass fitting with a nipple on one side and a fitting to screw this Banjo bolt in on the other i can tee it in between the LP and the IP and return excess fuel to my return valve and then return to the right tank. I will t in the injector return lines with this return and I will be the same as the stock configuration.
